How do I setup Master and Slave punch clocks?

Note: These instructions cover Time & Attendance devices purchased from DataByte between 2017 and present, containing Face recognition, Fingerprint and RFID scanners.

How do I setup Master and Slave Punch Clocks?

Log in to WorkForce and launch Timekeeper. From the left-hand side menu, click ‘Setup’, followed by ‘Devices’.

Start by clicking the ‘Edit’ icon on the right hand side, for the punch clock that you would like to set as Master, once the lightbox opens, click on the ‘Is Master’ checkbox, and click ‘Save’.

Next, click the ‘Edit’ icon for the punch clock that you would like set as Slave and click the ‘Save’ button.

Next you will be able to identify which punch clocks are set as Master and Slave based on the icon to the left-hand side, of the name of the device as shown below.
